The Old Town Merchants and Residents Association is happy to announce the return of the Old Town Cash Back Program!

 

We’re celebrating local businesses during the holiday season, and we want you to be a part of this new initiative. Shop local and receive a $25 rebate in the form of a American Express gift card. All you have to do is shop locally in Old Town between November 24, 2020  and January 4, 2021 and submit your receipts to our office by January 4, 2020. This program is not limited to Old Town residents; anyone who shops in Old Town is welcome to submit receipts!

The first 50 shoppers who spend at least $75 at a minimum of 3 businesses within the approved Old Town area will receive a $25 American Express gift card. Complete details including local boundaries, expenditure requirements and submitting of receipts is available below.

 

 

Rules and Restrictions:

Holiday Shoppers that spend a total of $75 throughout the business community on retail products, gift certificates, or services will be eligible to receive a rebate of $25 in the form of an American Express Gift Card that may be used anywhere American Express is accepted.

Holiday Shoppers will need to collect receipts from a minimum of 3 businesses within the approved area (see below) and deliver a photo copy of the receipts to the Old Town Merchants and Residents Association once they spend the minimum of $75 collectively. Only one gift card per person. 

A minimum of $10 must be spent at a small business for receipt to be included in total (before tax and gratuity). A maximum of $50 can be utilized for groceries and/or liquor. Medications or memberships are not allowed to be included in total.

The only items from restaurants that will count towards your total are gift cards.

 

Email your receipts:

Copies of receipts can be sent via email to Rachel Rubinson: rrubinson@oldtownchicago.org.

All copies of receipts should be submitted with Holiday Shopper contact information, including name, return address, phone number, email address and zip code.

Rebates in the form of a $25 American Express Gift Card will be distributed to the first 50 Holiday Shoppers that submit their copies of receipts to the Old Town Merchants and Residents Association.

Copies of receipts must be submitted by Monday, January 4, 2021.

 

 

Receive your gift card:

Offer only good while supplies last, one submission per person.

$25 gift cards will be mailed in in the form of a American Express Gift Card that may be used anywhere American Express is accepted.

Gift cards will be mailed after the closing date of the rebate program (Monday, January 4, 2021), and you should be expecting your gift card by the end of January or beginning of February 2021.
