The Near North Branch of Chicago’s Public Library system is hosting a Spring Book Sale on Saturday, April 16th from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Stop by to peruse their selection and purchase books, DVDs or CDs. The Near North Branch (310 W. Division) will host another book sale on Monday, April 18th from 1:00pm to 7:00pm.

The library is also encouraging patrons to donate some items to the sale. They’re looking for gently-used Books, DVDs, CDs, and Audio Books (on CD). Materials can be left with library staff, and donation receipts are available. The library cannot accept VHS Tapes, Cassette Tapes, Magazines or Reference Books.

The Spring Book Sale is presented by the Near North Library Friends Association, a group of volunteers dedicated to ensuring the Near North Branch continues to serve as a valuable community resource. NNLFA organizes dozens of events throughout the year, including special speaker series, classes, discussion groups and Movie Nights at the Library.
