Each year, the Old Town Community works together to give back to the community during the holiday season. The Old Town Merchants and Residents Association’s annual Holiday Charity Drive to support local Chicago Charities begins the week of November 27. The charities are all Chicago-based: Chicago House, Deborah’s Place, and Mercy Home for Boys and Girls. Donations needed include toiletries, new/gently-used clothing (especially winter clothing), and non-perishable food.
Mercy Home has also requested the gift and stocking stuffers for donation. Full list is available here.
From November 28 through December 18, items can be dropped off at one our participating Old Town businesses, listed below. We strongly encourage you to help those in need and donate items you and your family no longer use.
